CIPFA opens new Leeds training centre


A new Leeds training centre to deliver the professional qualification of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA), the leading public financial management body, will formally open on 21 January.

The CIPFA Education and Training Centre (CETC) offers high quality face to face classroom-based tuition with consistently high pass rates. This new centre will offer CIPFA tuition from January 2011 applying CETC’s highly successful course design and delivery principles.

As part of the recent agreement to appoint Kaplan Financial as an additional preferred supplier of CIPFA training, CETC will be using Kaplan’s premises at the City Exchange (11 Albion Street, Leeds LS1 5ES), with courses commencing on 26th January

Existing CIPFA students in the area, including those currently studying at Leeds Metropolitan University, will now be able to continue their studies through the CETC course programme. New student will be able to benefit from high quality classroom tuition CETC in Leeds for the first time.

All local employers with an interest in financial training in public services are being invited to attend a lunchtime introductory session at the new Centre at 12.30 on 21st January – please email .uk to confirm attendance..
