The results of elections are now in for eleven positions on the governing Council of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) for 2012/13.
The successful candidates include Mark Day, CFO at Community Health Partnerships Ltd. who has never sat on CIPFA Council before. Five candidates who were elected to the 2011/12 Council have been re-elected; the other five successful candidates have served on Council before.
The newly elected Council will join the new President and Vice President, Sir Tony Redmond and Jaki Salisbury, who will take up their roles at the CIPFA AGM on 3 July at the CIPFA Annual Conference. Ian Perkin continues as Hon Treasurer and Chris Bilsland will sit on the Council as the immediate Past President. Additional co-options are still to be confirmed by the elected Council members taking the number of Council members to 41.
