29-04-2014

The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy’s (CIPFA) annual prize winners’ ceremony took place yesterday evening at the institute’s headquarters in London. Prizes were awarded to those students who achieved the best performance in each paper of CIPFA’s Professional Qualification in 2013.

Prize winners include Cerys Ledger, who won both the Arthur Collins Memorial Medal and the Eric Gilliland Memorial Medal. The Richard Emmott Memorial Prize was awarded to Harriet Taylor.

All of the prize winners attended tuition courses at CIPFA’s Education and Training Centre.

CIPFA President, Jaki Salisbury, who awarded the prizes, said,

“Very many congratulations to all of those who have received prizes, we're delighted that your hard work has been rewarded. It is a great honour to present these awards to such outstanding students who represent the future of our profession.

“I am sure that they all have long and successful careers ahead of them.”
