Course bookings and enrolment now open for students of CIPFA’s Professional Accountancy Qualification.
Selected course bookings available from next week.
The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy’s (CIPFA) annual prize winners’ ceremony took place yesterday at the institute’s headquarters in Mansell Street, London. Prizes were awarded to those students who achieved the best performance in each paper of CIPFA’s Professional Qualification (PQ) in 2014.
Winners included Tomas Bowring, who won the Arthur Collins Memorial Medal, Jenny Hann who won the Eric Gilliland Memorial Medal and Stephen Howarth, who was awarded the Richard Emmott Memorial Prize. All prizes are awarded at the final Strategic stage of the PQ.
CIPFA President, Mike Owen, who awarded the prizes, said:
“Congratulations to all of the 2014 prize winners, it’s fantastic to see that hard work has been rewarded. This award honours outstanding students who represent the future of our profession, so I am delighted that they have been celebrated in this way.
“CIPFA’s PQ continues to be the bedrock for all those who wish to work and study in public finance management.”
