Introducing the Governments Board

24-11-2016

In September 2016, CIPFA established the Governments Board to provide guidance and oversight CIPFA's activities. The board consists of an experienced and international blend of experts in central government administration. They will provide technical and experiential advice on content, strategy and delivery of its programmes.

Ann Beasley is the Board Chair. In her previous capacity as Director General of Finance in the Ministry of Justice, Ann led several reform initiatives which led to significant improvements in the Department’s public financial management system. A very committed and engaging CIPFA council member, she said: “With the wide range of fantastically skilled people we have attracted to sit on the Board, I am looking forward to stimulating debates on how CIPFA can use its unique position to advance financial management across the world and learn about the best that is happening internationally.”
