This awards scheme seeks to recognise and promote best practice in public reporting and accountability arrangements across the public services. CIPFA and PricewaterhouseCoopers invited all conference delegates to join celebrated guests at the 2006 ceremony in the main auditorium of the HIC. The conference was rounded off in style at the ever-popular Gala Ball – this year sponsored by Alliance & Leicester. This black-tie occasion took place in the Majestic hotel on the final night of the conference and was the must-have ticket of the event. Guests were treated to a champagne reception on arrival followed by a three course meal with wine. The evening was rounded off with dancing to the popular band, Chance. |
