FRINGE LECTURE

The fringe lecture has become a must attend event in the conference programme this year was no exception when one of the best known faces on television, John Sergeant, delivered his unique view of political life.

PRA AWARDS CEREMONY

The 6th CIPFA/PricewaterhouseCoopers Public Reporting & Accountability awards ceremony was again staged at the conference. Sponsored by PricewaterhouseCoopers, these awards seek to recognise and promote best practice in public reporting and accountability across the public services.

All conference delegates were invited to attend the lively ceremony in the main conference hall from 11.30 – 12.30 to see winners receive their awards and hear about their achievements.

WELCOME RECEPTION

The relaxed atmosphere of the welcome reception is the ideal way to end a packed day of conference sessions. All delegates were invited to join sponsors Steria and other exhibitors for wine and refreshments in the exhibition halls from 17.00 - 17.45.

GALA BALL

This black-tie occasion took place in the Royal Bath hotel on the final night of the conference.

Guests were treated to a champagne reception on arrival followed by a delicious meal with wine. The evening was rounded off with dancing to the popular band, “Chance”.
