CIPFA Professional Accountancy Qualification (PAQ)
The Professional Accountancy Qualification combines mastery of basic accounting techniques and functions with work-place training, special assignments and a final year project. This produces a unique blend of technical accounting, financial management and general business skills. When you qualify, you'll be a Chartered Public Finance Accountant, able to use the letters 'CPFA' after your name.
Many CIPFA qualified accountants are working all over the world and an increasing number of enquiries are received from students outside the UK enquiring about the qualification. Special arrangements are needed for students living outside the UK and these are detailed within the CIPFA Qualifications section.
Training and Qualification Programme for Public Sector Auditors and Accountants in Transition Economy Countries
CIPFA recognises that each public sector is unique and therefore common approaches to professional education are more difficult to achieve. This is why CIPFA has developed a specialist education and training programme capable of adaptation to local circumstances, for use in transition and developing economy countries. The programme is based upon the experience of developing similar programmes for a number of countries.
