Study for a CIPFA Professional Qualification through our graduate entry route

All graduates can sign up to study with CIPFA and become a Chartered Public Finance Accountant (CPFA).

You could be granted exemptions from some CIPFA papers if you have a relevant finance or accountancy related degree.

If you are looking for a job then many of our partner employers offer graduate schemes where you work as a finance trainee while studying for the CIPFA Professional Qualification. You will earn a salary and progress as you gain valuable knowledge and experience.

How to register as a student

Finance related degrees

If you have a finance related degree you maybe entitled to exemptions. Use our Exemption tool to find out which papers you are exempt from. Exemptions cost £100 per paper. This list outlines all required exams.

 

Non-finance related degrees

Holders of all degrees can study to become chartered accountants with CIPFA.

The soft skills you would have gained are just as valuable to pave the path to a successful and rewarding career. In fact, 40% of our current students come from non-finance related degree backgrounds.
