Do you want to advance your Excel skills in the workplace? The North West CIPFA Student Network will be holding an advanced skills training course on Monday 27 February 2017 at iCount training facility in Manchester. Topics include:

  • pivot tables
  • conditional formatting
  • sensitivity analysis
  • functions and commands
  • macros.

This is a full day course; lunch and necessary equipment will be provided.

Places are limited and are expected to fill up soon. Please email E: with your name, CIPFA student number and name of the organisation you work for before Wednesday 15 February 2017 to book your provisional place on the course.

Successful bookings will be notified by Sunday 19 February 2017.

Please note that in the likely event of over-subscription, delegates should be willing to feed back skills to other students within their organisation. Due to a limited number of places, we would advise students to seek permission to attend from line managers before making a booking.

Revision course support for North West students

Do you need financial support to attend revision courses? The North West CIPFA Student Network might be able to help you. If you are sitting an exam in June 2017 and do not receive funding to attend revision courses you might be eligible to apply for a funded place.

Places are limited and applications will have to meet criteria assessment to be considered successful. Please note that successful applicants will be provided with a funded place on a CETC revision course held in May for exams being sat in June. Offers for payment or reimbursement to individual students will not be made available.

Please download the application form and eligibility criteria, and if you wish to apply return the form via email to E: no later than Thursday 16 February 2017.
