 CIPFA Northern Ireland provides skills-based training programmes that are designed to provide participants with an enhanced level of professional work-based training in the fields of finance and accountancy, audit, investigation, governance and grant funding. Leading bodies such as The Institute of Administrative Management, the Institute of Leadership and Management, the Institute of Directors and EDEXCEL accredit the programmes.

CIPQ Qualification

CIPFA Investigative Practice Qualification

The CIPFA Investigative Practice Qualification will provide all investigators with the essential legal knowledge and skills to carry out an investigation professionally and secure admissible evidence.

PRINCE2® Accredited Training Programme

From 1 January 2012 CIPFA in partnership with Cupe will be delivering PRINCE2® e-Learning courses.

CIPFA’s latest PRINCE2® for the Public Sector E-learning is a flexible solution that has been built to suit your individual style of learning and schedule, allowing you to work at your own pace while saving you and your organisation time and money. Our E-learning courses have been designed by experienced trainers and feature tried and tested case studies presented in an interactive style.

CIPFA is delighted to be able to offer this cost-effective training through which you will be able to study for the PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner exams without the time and expense of leaving your office.

PRINCE2®  Re-registration Workshop

Within three to five years of receiving the PRINCE2 Practitioner accreditation, practitioners are required to re-register their original certification in order to demonstrate that they have kept up-to-date with all the latest developments in the methodology.  This workshop will refresh and update practitioners' knowledge and understanding of the PRINCE2®  methodology including changes since their original training.

Certificate in Corporate Governance

Good corporate governance is not just the duty of Boards, it is the responsibility of everyone in the organisation.  From discussions with Chairs and Chief Executives of public bodies, we have identified the need for a practical and structured training programme that will increase the knowledge and skills of those charged with making governance work in public bodies.

The next programme of study will commence on 27 April 2012.
