The Journal of Finance and Management in Public Services is published twice a year containing academic papers from a variety of public service management, finance and accountancy topics.
The journal was established as vehicle for encouraging new researchers to experience the academic refereeing process in a supportive environment. All papers are double blind refereed from an international editorial board.

Since it was first published in 2000 the JFMPS has published a wide range of academic and practitioner papers and has over 1000 copies distributed world-wide to academics and CIPFA practitioners.
The JFMPS also offers opportunities for academics and research students to present research plans and progress reports, in addition to completed research projects, at its annual conference. This conference has developed a strong reputation for its collegiate atmosphere resulting in many delegates attending every year.
The editorial board and sponsors of JFMPS were proud to receive recognition for its quality in the Association of Business School 2007 Journal rankings and has resolved to maintain and improve standards whilst retaining the aim of supporting new and developing researchers.
All of this can only be achieved with the active support of our prime sponsors CIPFA and Anglia Ruskin University in addition to the practical support given to us by the members of ACIPFAL.
We look forward to receiving your feedback and future research papers for potential publication.
