2011 Winner
The judges decided that the 2011 Sir Harry Page Award winner was Mike Hathorn, to recognise his contribution as Chair of the International Public Accounting Standards Board. His personal drive and commitment had led to a successful project outcome in the publication of the international standards in 2010.
The judges were impressed by the innovative and thoughtful nature of the work, which is of truly global significance tackling many problems that few countries had previously been able to address. The success of this work was already apparent to the judges from the increasing take up of the standards internationally.
