CATS is the name for the Region's training programme for auditors. The CATS Committee arranges a highly successful seminar programme each Autumn, usually held at the University of Warwick. Although the seminars are a Midlands Region activity, delegates come not only from within the Midlands, but also from further afield.
2008 Seminar Programme
The CATS Audit Training Seminars programme for Autumn 2008 have been completed. The dates and topics were:
- 30th September - Seminar 1 - Emerging / Current Issues
- 6th November - Seminar 2 - Fraud
- 18th November - Seminar 3 - Information Technology
- 28th November - Seminar 4 - Governance

CATS Organising Committee
The CATS Organising currently consists of 12 members. We are continually looking for additional volunteers to assist with the CATS Seminar Programme, and are keen to encourage representatives from the under-represented sectors. Offers of help should be made to Neil Farquharson, Chair of the CATS Organising Committee.
