PrintStudent Forum - About Us
Background
The North West and North Wales Society Student Forum is a recent development in student services in the North West. It was founded by National Student Forum representatives Claire Gravil and Francis Hurst in January 2003 and seats student representatives from Local Government and the Health Service throughout the region. The forum is run by the CIPFA students for CIPFA students and has support and funding from the North West and North Wales Society of CIPFA. The forum recognises the needs of students in the region to have a support network and a channel to feed their views to CIPFA.
Aims and Objectives
- To provide support to students in the region
- To provide seminars and other events relevant to exams, assignments and projects
- To promote CIPFA in the region
- To aid students in building networks, which will help in studies and future careers
