CIPFA Mentoring Scheme Relaunch
In 2003 CIPFA in Scotland, in partnership with its Executive Committee, developed a tailored mentoring scheme. This involved training of CIPFA members as mentors, assigning these trained mentors to partners and facilitating a process whereby the mentor can advise, guide and support the partner in their professional career and personal development. CIPFA Scottish Branch
The CIPFA Scottish Branch comprises the whole CIPFA membership in Scotland. Formed in 1906, the Scottish Branch has over 1,000 CIPFA-qualified full members and 300 student members. A number of important Branch activities take place each year including the Annual Conference and the Development Weekend.
The principal function of the Scottish Branch is to promote the policies and reputation of the Institute in Scotland as provided by the Royal Charter and Bye Laws, in particular the science of public finance and accountancy.
