Treasury Management Forum
The Treasury Management Forum was formerly launched in Edinburgh in January 1994. The Forum was intended to provide a network and regular discussion medium for practitioners throughout the public sector in Scotland. It was a response to both the specialist and high profile nature of Treasury Management.
The Forum has met quarterly since that date and consistently attracts high pedigree speakers.
The membership embraces all councils in Scotland as well as several in the North of England. Moreover, a range of health trusts, housing associations, water authorities and higher/further education institutions are members.
The Forum has developed its activities, and focused sub-groups on Pension Fund Investment and Leasing have evolved under its umbrella. Development and Research activities are also pursued in areas such as performance measurement. Training has also attracted particular attention.
