The region is represented by a Regional Council made up of local volunteers.
The Area committees elect members to the regional council, so each area in the region is fully represented. Members with issues or concerns are invited to attend area committee meetings, or write to their area representative, who can bring the issue for consideration by the Regional Council if necessary.
The Regional Council elects one representative to the CIPFA Board for the Regions. Election of officers takes place at the region's AGM. For details of the current South West and West of England Council, please click here.
The two training centres in our region are: CETC in the West of England and CETC Wales
