Also a webinar considering the issues of financial sustainability in schools. Although schools have been relatively well protected in respect of their funding, there are now signs of financial stress and significant budgetary challenges.

This has resulted in many schools undertaking an in-depth review of how they operate. There can be a real dichotomy of balancing the budget against needing adequate resources to guarantee minimum levels of attainment; often these two aims are seen as mutually exclusive as teaching and finance staff battle over priorities. This webinar considers the link between staff deployment, the cost of this and educational outcomes. We highlight simple ways to model staff deployment for a given number of scenarios and examine the advantages and disadvantages of the different options.
