will the resource ever match the rhetoric

The attached draft paper examines the financial and service performance of those councils who have so far been rated as good by Ofsted.

The paper identifies a number of ways in which these councils deliver good outcomes while making good use of resources.

The next set of events will look at this analysis in more depth - looking at the financial benefits of these approaches and how a number of these councils with these financial benefits still achieve good outcomes with out overspending.

We would very much welcome you joining us at these events to hear your contribution to this analysis as well as the more general debate on the adequacy of long term resourcing to achieve the nations ambitions for our most vulnerable children.
