These workshops covered the accounting requirements for authorities in an NDR pool in terms of the safety net and levy calculation requirements and associated debits and credits, but also looking at the importance of monitoring and forecasting, applicable to any authority but especially those in a pool. The half-day also featured a presentation from a practitioner who has been involved in accounting for a pool for the last two years and a session to allow delegates to exchange ideas and concerns with each other, the results of which are included here.
