This was an event of two halves, the first being a session on the calculation of council tax base and completion of the latest government return on this. The second session introduced delegates to the principles of collection fund accounting. Final versions of the slides and also a briefing document on the accounting principles are included below, updated since the events to reflect feedback from delegates.
