Housing Network

The most effective and economical full service offering for the social housing sector.

Practitioner advice, guidance and technical updates

Welcome to the CIPFA Housing Network which has now been established for over 14 years, adapting to developments in policy and finance. The Housing Network provides essential, practical and timely advice on housing policy, housing finance, financial management and accounting issues.

This year the Housing and Planning Act 2016 and other key government initiatives and announcements have provided a natural framework for our agenda which also looks to cover housing funding options and development vehicles. We provide a horizon scan of the key developments affecting your organisation. We also provide briefings on legislation, policy and finance developments to support local authorities in their strategic and stock owning roles including ALMOs and new local housing companies.

New for 2017 the Housing Network has appointed Steve Partridge as a Special Advisor. With over 20 years’ experience of advising local government and housing associations gained from organisations such as CIH and QSH, Steve will be using his expertise to ensure the network fully explores options on funding and growth.
