This series of workshops heralded the introduction of the New Public Contract Regulations 2015 which will make significant changes to how public sector organisations procure insurance contracts. The EU procurement procedures for buying services is perceived as a complex task, in what can often seem like a "seller's market". This event explored the latest EU Procurement Directives from the legal and compliance perspective and focused on the challenges and practicalities of procuring specialist services like insurance.
