This years' Spring Strategic Briefings focussed on the close down of the 2014/15 accounts for PCCs and Chief Constables. Drawing from the FAN’s close down events, we considered the relevant new LAAP bulletins and procedures in chapter 2.5 of the code, non-current assets and service reporting considerations. We also provided a specific session on close down issues for PCCs and Chief Constables’ accounts following stage 2 transfers.
