This workshop supported procurement, commissioners, finance, solicitors, insurance and project managers, auditors and contract managers and transformation managers who are required to advise on major contracts and delivery arrangements.
The workshop offered delegates an opportunity to:
- listen to how one authority has learned lessons from a major outsourcing dispute, with key recommendations for procurement and contracts teams
- gain ideas to develop a strategy to manage and deliver key services ranging from IT, property management and waste management functions
- get a clear picture on the pros and cons of insourcing, outsourcing and other delivery models
- understand the benefits of alternative service delivery models rather than the status quo.
