This new event from the CIPFA Procurement and Commissioning Network was to support public sector organisations spend the estimated £13.8bn (£600m in police services in England and Wales) on ICT expenditure more effectively. ICT contracts are under growing scrutiny and failed tenders pose significant risks to public bodies. Delegates that attended the workshop found out how to make ICT procurement simpler and compliant.
The workshop supported procurement, ICT category managers, finance, solicitors, auditors, contract managers, ICT directors, technical managers and project managers who are responsible for procuring ICT contracts.
