advice on asset management

Apart from central government and Audit Commission guidance, there is now some excellent guidance available for public sector asset managers from respected sources such as the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and Confederation of Local Authorities in Wales (CLAW), as well as from CIPFA Property itself.

The RICS Public Sector Asset Management Guidelines apply across the public sector, while for local authorities the RICS Local Authority Asset Management Guidance booklets provide more specific advice.
