Highways asset management benchmarking in association with LoTAMB

LoTAMB is the London Technical Advisors Group’s (LoTAG) asset management board.

The LoTAG Asset Management Board (LoTAMB) was set up during 2008; at this time a formal application was made for a share of £7.5m awarded to English local authorities by the Department for Transport to help develop and disseminate good asset management practices for roads, bridges and other highways assets.

The LoTAMB/CIPFA (formerly LoTAMB/NBVBS) benchmarking module is the outcome of that bid and benchmarking is now underway with all the London boroughs and Transport for London, however the module is equally appropriate to other highway authorities across the country.
