This is an opportunity to hear from the Bank of England regarding its up-to-date projections for the economy. The session is aimed at CIPFA practitioners across Wales, starting with light refreshments at 09.30, followed by a 45-minute presentation and concluding with a question and answer session.
Hosted at the Civic Centre, Swansea, this is a free CPD event for CIPFA members and spaces are limited to 25, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
Ian Derrick joined the Bank of England in 2000 as deputy agent at the Agency for Wales. Born and schooled in Llanelli, Ian graduated from Cardiff University in Economics in 1989, joining The Royal Bank of Scotland, working primarily in corporate banking and project finance roles in the City of London in the 1990s.
