About this event

The summit will explore how to support good governance in both public bodies and the third sector.

As public bodies innovate and change their service delivery models, third sector organisations can be a vital partner and provide opportunities for innovation and enhanced community engagement. This may present a number of challenges: public bodies must remain mindful of the need to ensure value for money, manage risk and maintain transparency and accountability. Third sector bodies have their own obligations for accountability and efficient use of resources.

Who should attend

The seminar will be of interest to a range of lead officers and practitioners in public and third sector bodies including finance, governance, legal and internal audit.

Benefits

The summit provides an excellent opportunity to hear from experts with a range of perspectives and experience covering both public bodies and the third sector. The event will not only identify challenges but also share good practice and opportunities for improvement.
