We realise that your time is valuable, and that everyone seems to be busier than ever before. It is difficult to keep up with everything that is going on at the moment, and so we are covering two key topics at the CIPFA in the Midlands AGM.
We are really pleased to welcome Mark Surguy from Weightmans, who will talk us through GDPR, and Dan Cutts from CIPFA, who will explain how the apprenticeship levy works and how to make the most of it. Both sessions will include plenty of opportunity for you to ask questions.
Newly-qualified members can be formally presented with their certificates.
The AGM also provides you with a great opportunity to network with colleagues and find out how they are coping with these topics – and everything else!
A complimentary lunch will be available at 12.30.
We are very grateful to Nottingham City Council for hosting the AGM at its iconic Council House, situated on the Old Market Square.
The nearest car parks are Lace Market and Trinity Square.
The train station is really convenient too and is only a 10-15 minute walk to the venue.
