The CIPFA South East Summer Conference celebrates its 60th year by returning to a two day/two night residential format at Wantage Hall in Reading.
The theme of this year's conference is 'Diamonds in the Rough'. Confirmed speakers include Dame Margaret Hodge MP, Andrew Burns (incoming CIPFA President), Sophie Walker (Women's Equality Party), Chris Naylor (London Borough of Barking and Dagenham) and Aileen Murphie (National Audit Office).

Way back in 1958, some CIPFA South East members decided to hold a residential conference at Wantage Hall, University of Reading, to discuss topical issues affecting public finance. They hit on a winning formula, as what came to be known as 'Reading Summer School' has continued every year since then.
