About this event

The National Cyber Security strategy aims to co-ordinate the UK’s response to the growing risk of cyber-attack. As well as service interruption and data loss, cyber-attack is a growing facilitator of fraud. As a result the risk to public bodies has taken on increasing importance.

The workshop will focus on understanding the steps being taken nationally and locally plus sharing of good practice in risk identification and management. Key sessions include:

  • the national strategy and the public sector priorities
  • cyber security risks and risk management
  • cyber protection tools
  • people and organisational culture – developing cyber risk awareness.
