Named after Margaret E Pratt, the first female President of CIPFA, who held the role in 1998.
Holds up to 30 delegates, ground floor room (9m x 4m).
Ideal room for training courses, board and committee meetings. Use of a flip-chart, laptop, data projector and plasma TV screen are included in the rate.
Named after Maurice F Stonefrost, CBE, Director General, Greater London Council. He was President of CIPFA in 1984.
Holds up to 36 delegates, ground floor room with natural daylight (7.7m x 5.4m).
Room layout is perfect for training courses, board and committee meetings.
Named after George Swainson, Borough Treasurer, Bolton. He was the first President of CIPFA and served from 1885-1887.
Holds up to 55 delegates, ground floor room with natural daylight (9.2m x 7.2m).
Flexible layout of the room means you can accommodate 55 delegates in a theatre-style or 30 in a boardroom set up.
Named after Tom W Sowerby, Borough Treasurer, Bromley, who served as President of CIPFA in 1973.
Holds up to 48 delegates, ground floor room with natural daylight (9.2m x 4.7m).
The room is suitable for a range of events, including committee meetings, product launches and seminars. It includes state-of-the-art projection equipment for presentations.
Named after Geoff Pollard, CIPFA President in 1975.
Holds up to six delegates, ground floor room (2.9m x 5.3m).
This room is perfect for a smaller corporate event – for examples private meetings, interview sessions or brainstorming. The Pollard room can also be hired as an additional space for your conference, such as for smaller breakout groups.
For larger meetings or more formal events, you can combine the Swainson and Sowerby rooms to create an area which can hold up to 90 delegates in a theatre-style layout. This makes it ideal for exhibitions, AGMs, press launches and large meetings. It also provides the latest conference facilities to help you hold the perfect event.
When used as individual meeting rooms they are separated by a soundproof panel.
