Responding to COVID-19: insight, support and guidance

Support for CIPFA networks

The spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to be of major national and international concern and, in order to safeguard public health, the government has introduced restrictions on travel and gatherings. It’s important that the service we provide to Network subscribers continues uninterrupted during this uncertain time and therefore we have made some necessary changes to service delivery.

Our COVID-19 hub provides updates and information relevant to you as a CIPFA Network subscriber. If you have any questions or issues that you need support with, please contact your network advisor – we are here to help.

All network events have now been re-purposed to be delivered via webinar until the end of May. We continue to provide the very latest support, guidance and information in a worrying period for all.

We have over 30 webinars scheduled to deliver help to around 1,500 delegates, and intend to extend this support beyond May, as necessary.

Many events have now been updated to include the possible ramifications of COVID-19, and we are pleased that feedback and high delegate numbers to our webinars reflect that our new format is continuing to support and add value to our customers at this time.

Further support and information

  • Not all people can access via webinar. Visit our support page for further help if you are unable to access our webinars. For those who are unable to attend webinars, perhaps due to technology limitations at home, recordings of the webinar are available on-demand after the event.
  • For those unable to attend, we are also providing tailored one-to-one discussions over the phone with the event webinar advisor to help share the messages from the day.
  • We are working towards providing online access for subscribers to all webinar recordings across our network websites.
  • Network advisors are sending out regular e-newsletters to all our subscribers to ensure that you are fully up to date with this fast moving situation and the impact on services due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • We are due to launch a new weekly webinar to provide network updates and give more opportunity for practitioners to engage and ask questions in real time.
  • Network e-newsletters will be made free to access for the duration of the lockdown, and can be found on our Networks Bulletins page.

CIPFA Network advisors continue to work as before and are on hand to support you in any way we can. We wish you and your families all the best of health during this period.
