John Anderson lives in Edinburgh. He is a graduate in music and law, and is a qualified teacher. He retired as head of Fitness to Teach with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) in 2012. John is a lay panellist with RCVS, IFA and AAT and the Faculty of Advocates (Scottish Bar). He is also a member and a chair of the Investigating Committee of the General Medical Council and chair of the Farriers Registration Council Disciplinary Committee.
