Rosemary has practised in professional disciplinary and regulatory law for over 20 years. Rosemary was previously a partner at Field Fisher Waterhouse (1999 to 2009) and Slater & Gordon (2009 to 2013).
She joined Bevan Brittan to work in the professional regulatory team in October 2013. Rosemary has acted for most of the major professional regulatory organisations in various roles, including investigation and advocacy in disciplinary tribunals, dealing with appeals and judicial reviews, design and presentation of training to disciplinary bodies and their panellists, drafting of policy and of legislation and other aspects of legislation projects, undertaking fitness to practise audits and review of regulatory policy and procedure.
She acts as a legal advisor to disciplinary tribunals. She is a member of ARDL (The Association of Regulatory & Disciplinary Lawyers) and was a founder member. ARDL is now the main professional organisation for solicitors and barristers in this sector and has over 1,000 members.
