I’d like to say a massive thank you to the 2,700 members who took the time to complete our 2019 Members’ Survey. Your feedback helps us develop services you need and value.
Overall satisfaction remains high with 71% of members saying they are fairly or very satisfied with CIPFA’s membership services.
It’s incredibly encouraging that 87% of you say CIPFA membership has helped you in your career and consider yourselves proud to be a member.
The survey also asked about how and when members want to hear from CIPFA, to ensure we provide you with latest news and information on the services we provide. Forty one percent of members say they have noticed more topical policy comment and statements coming from CIPFA recently.
The survey provided us with valuable feedback on areas we could improve. There are opportunities for us to do more to support members’ CPD accreditation and we know we need to review our range of training courses to better serve the needs of the wider membership, not just those in local government. There is also scope to do more to promote regional news and keep members informed about local activities.
All of your feedback is crucial in helping us tailor our services to provide you with the best membership possible.
