Assistant Finance Business Partner

Home working/Lewes, full time, £32,391-35,753 (April 2021 pay award pending)

CIPFA-Penna are working with East Sussex Fire and Rescue to recruit an Assistant Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis. You will be key to shaping the finance transformation throughout a cultural shift through the provision of strategic financial advice and implementing new systems and processes, including Oracle Fusion ERP, which in turn will enable the devolution of financial management to service colleagues.

The ideal candidate will be able to deliver a proactive, customer-focussed and trusted finance business partnering service. Supporting the Finance Manager and Finance Business Partners, you will ensure we deliver value for money by identifying new ways of working, which secure efficiencies and influence the financial decisions that contribute to the Fire Service's long-term purpose to make our communities safer. You'll provide support on grants, financial analysis, preparing for audits and developing financial business cases. In return, they offer:
