After recently restructuring and bolstering resources within our finance team, we are now looking for a forward-thinking and dynamic finance professional to lead our finance, revenues and benefits services. You will manage the day-to-day operation of the team, ensuring accurate and timely professional financial support across the organisation, including enhancing an effective financial management culture and efficient revenues and benefits services to residents and businesses.

You will also support the strategic director and section 151 officer on all aspects of finance and financial strategy. As the head of finance, you’ll act as deputy s151 officer and have responsibility for the full range of organisational, finance-related activities.

The council is an agile working employer and expect the role to be based on-site in our offices on average one day a week and for in-person committee meetings, subject to negotiation with management.
