Interim Corporate Accountants

CIPFA-Penna are working in partnership with a South-East based local authority in search of Interim Senior Corporate Accountants to support a number of core services.

Working closely with the Head of Finance in producing quality financial reporting, management and financial accounting the continual development/maintenance of an effective MTFS and associated forecasting/modelling, the successful candidate will help to shape a new way of working and lay foundations for a new permanent structure, helping to drive associated change, transformation and innovation across the finance function and its relationship with the services it supports. Therefore, there is a tangible opportunity for a driven interim candidate to leave a long-lasting positive legacy at the authority.

We're looking for qualified finance professionals (CIPFA or equivalent) within local government finance, ideally with good experience of corporate accounting within a local authority environment with particular knowledge in closing accounts and/or collection fund accounting being a distinct advantage.
