The CIPFA Scotland Annual Public Finance Live Conference will return to Glasgow on 19–20 March 2020 and our celebration of public finance in Scotland takes place after the UK’s scheduled departure from the EU. The constitutional impact upon Scotland will continue to develop with both uncertainty and opportunity in seemingly equal measure.

The skills of Scotland’s public finance professionals will be essential as Scotland navigates its uncertain course. With both uncertainty and opportunity in seemingly equal measure the impact for public finances will require the careful management of Scotland's finance professionals. The event offers delegates themes to choose from on public service resilience, people and place, talent and skills, and building public trust.

Don't miss:

  • Keynote address: Kate Forbes, Kate Forbes MSP, Minister for Public Finance and the Digital Economy
  • Caroline Gardner, Auditor General, Audit Scotland
  • Susan Aitken, Council Leader, Glasgow City Council
  • ...and other leading figures from the public sector and beyond
  • Two day programme of debate, insight, case studies and best practice
  • Young People and Student stream
  • Thriving exhibition allowing for networking with our partners and sponsors
  • Public Finance Awards for Scotland.
