About this event

Establishing the financial health of suppliers is critical, especially in the post COVID-19 environment to ensure delivery of vital public services. Public bodies are required to ensure that contracts are awarded to financially stable suppliers based on the size and risks involved. Where this does not take place, it can result in challenges either for breach of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 or judicial review.

Many suppliers are in financial distress due to the pandemic and previous accounts may not provide the assurance to support a robust tender selection process. Contracting authorities will also need to ensure ongoing assessment of suppliers as part of effective contract management. Attend this webinar to find out how your tender exercises comply with all the latest thinking and address key practitioner issues and challenges.

Who should attend?

The webinar will support procurement, finance, solicitors, project managers, auditors and contract managers with day to day responsibilities of tenders and managing contractors.

How will you benefit from attending?

Delegates will learn:

  • the role of the SQ documents in the tender process
  • how to undertake a comprehensive SQ evaluation using financial and non-financial data supplied
  • how to undertake financial assessment and the role of credit agency reports
  • guidance on what constitutes sufficient self-cleaning measures to demonstrate reliability
  • how to undertake financial due diligence in the post COVID environment.
