CIPFA Accredited Counter Fraud Technician in Procurement Fraud

A comprehensive introduction to counter fraud and investigative practice for those working in procurement investigations.

About the programme

Procurement fraud is now widely recognised as a significant risk; it can occur at any point in the supply chain and is often notoriously difficult to detect and measure.

Like our standard Accredited Counter Fraud Technician (ACFTech), the CIPFA Accredited Counter Fraud Technician (ACFTech) in procurement fraud provides an excellent grounding in fraud investigation skills.

It covers investigation planning, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses and suspects, all with a focus on the procurement process.

It also provides a solid grounding for those who wish to go on and study the CIPFA Accredited Counter Fraud Specialist (ACFS) qualification.

What our delegates say

"Thanks for what was an enjoyable, taxing, fast-paced, highly focused and in-depth course, enhanced considerably by your unparalleled practical experience in this area. I very much hope that we have the opportunity to meet again at future CIPFA training courses or events."
Alison Weir, Insurance, Risk and Counter Fraud Advisor at Warrington Borough Council

"Procurement professionals are in a unique position to detect and prevent procurement fraud but we need the right skills and knowledge. CIPFA’s course delivers this and more. I now understand how fraud investigations work, which means an enhanced service for my clients and I really appreciated the passion and enthusiasm shown by the trainer. I’m already looking forward to the specialist course."
Declan Rate, Procurement DR Ltd and partner of Forensic Procurement Partnership Ltd
