About this event

Authorities will be familiar with the global financial crisis driving down investment yields and with Brexit now looming it is difficult to see where markets will go next. Furthermore, the increasing pressures to be self-financing are seeing many organisations look for alternative investment opportunities.

CIPFA and DCLG are introducing new guidance aimed at ensuring there is an appropriate response in terms of risk management and this will see a greater emphasis on transparency and due diligence.

How will I benefit?

These workshops will offer a fantastic opportunity for treasury practitioners to share their thoughts and learn how colleagues are preparing to move forward. We will provide technical advice around key accounting changes and also showcase our new investment training platform which will support all those involved in treasury management and will also aid in demonstrating professional capabilities.
