Responding to COVID-19: insight, support and guidance
A discussion webinar for members of the Better Governance Forum on the topic of risk management. The principal topic will be to review how risk management arrangements have supported public bodies during the COVID-19 pandemic, and help to identify the lessons that can be learned. As part of the discussion we will also consider steps that can be taken to help build greater resilience and ensure effective oversight of risk.

Diana is the lead advisor for the CIPFA Better Governance Forum and is CIPFA’s representative on the Internal Audit Standards Advisory Board. She is a CIPFA qualified accountant and is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Prior to joining CIPFA in 2008 she was head of internal audit at Salisbury Council and held other audit roles in local government and at the National Audit Office.
