Apprenticeship levy and pooled PAYE schemes

The apprenticeship levy will come into force on 6 April 2017. HMRC has published guidance on GOV.UK which provides information on calculating, reporting and paying the levy as well as sector specific guidance.

HMRC has also issued updated guidance for those organisations that operate pooled PAYE schemes, as we are now entering the period in which action may need to be taken.
