CIPFA Manifesto Calls for Major Public Services Debate
CIPFA is calling for an urgent debate on improving governance and financial management in the UK public services. It makes the case in the CIPFA Manifesto launched on Wednesday, 24 June at its Annual Conference in Manchester.
The CIPFA Manifesto, entitled Better Ideas, Better Public Services, sets out a series of the Institute's own ideas for improving openness and decision-making. Above all it focuses on the need for politicians to reinspire trust and confidence after the MPs' expenses debacle. read more...
