local authority accounting panel bulletins

Bulletins issued by the Local Authority Accounting Panel (LAAP) that provide topical guidance on specific issues and accounting developments.

In some cases they also clarify detailed accounting requirments.

Annually a Capital Interest Rate bulletin is issued which determines the interest rates to be used for capital charges each year.

A full listing of LAAP bulletins, issued since 1992, is available but only the most recent LAAP bulletins can be accessed from this site. If the bulletin you require is not available from this site then please contact the Technical Enquiry Service or matthew.allen@cipfa.org to request a copy.
